Lovevery Play Kits – what are they?!
Lovevery kits are a Montessori toy subscription box that is delivered every 2 or 3 months from birth until your child is 3 months old.
They’re specially designed to aid in your son or daughter’s development at each age and stage of their early life.
Lovevery Play Kit Subscription Box
The play kits are filled with high-quality Montessori toys for your babies, toddlers, and young children tailored to meet them at each stage of development.
It’s super exciting to get a new box every 2 or 3 months at your doorstep, brimming with colorful and engaging toys for your children.
Each play kit generally comes with around 7 or 8 toys, along with a play guide. However, in the later stages between ages 2 and 3, there are sometimes fewer toys as what you do get is more complex, larger, and more costly to create!
During the first year of your baby’s life, you will receive a new box every 2 months. However, in years 2 and 3 the toddler play kits only come every 3 months. That’s also because during the first year of life development happens very fast so toys are updated more frequently.
Lovevery Box Pricing
While these Lovevery boxes aren’t exactly cheap, they aren’t over-the-top expensive either!
You can subscribe for as little as $36 per month when paying for 6 kits at a time (one year’s worth) or $38 per month for 3 kits (6 months’ worth).
Purchasing a single box on its own will cost $80 for the first 12 months range, or $120 per box for the 13 months to 3-year-old range.
Shipping is free in the US for all orders over $75, so you do not need to pay extra to ship the play kits.
You can cancel your subscription at any time so if your circumstances change or you find they’re not the best fit for your family, you aren’t locked into anything. If you have prepaid for boxes and want to discontinue you will need to talk to Lovevery support.
We don’t know of any Lovevery coupons or discount codes available at this time, but will update this if we do!
So what types of toys come in the Lovevery kits?
Over 3 years you will receive a wide variety of Monty toys, all designed by child development experts. The toys are designed to help your children grow and they focus on encouraging particular skills or abilities.
In the early stages, a baby can only really see, grasp, and feel, so the first kit has a lot of black-and-white contrast items and grasping toys. It’s even called ‘The Looker Kit‘!
The first kit includes:
- a colorful mobile
- black and white card set
- black and white mittens
- a silicone rattle with removable ball
- travel card holder
- wooden book
- standing card holder
- and the Play Guide
Skipping ahead a year or so, and for months 16, 27, and 18 you will receive ‘The Pioneer Play Kit.’
This kit comes with:
- the race and chase ramp
- community garden puzzle
- ‘Max and Nana Go To The Park’ book
- a threadable bead kit & drawstring bag
- wooden stacking pegboard
- fuzzy bug shrub
- and the Play Guide
And as a final example, the last Lovevery play kit for months 34, 35, and 36 is called ‘The Free Spirit Play Kit.’
- a wooden camper with locking doors
- the ‘van go outdoor adventure’
- wooden counting box
- land and sky two-part puzzle board
- solid wood stacking boulders
- reach for the stars matching cards
- ‘Now that I’m 3’ board book
- and the Play Guide
There are 14 different Lovevery play kits available, so these 3 examples really are just the tip of the iceberg!
But aren’t the toys, books, and games wonderful?
The great thing is that because they are such high quality products, you can save them for your next child or gift them to another family. Most likely they will still be in excellent condition!
Lovevery toys are great to have on hand if you have other kids coming to play, plus many of them make for good travel toys for toddlers.
You can’t get the Lovevery toys that come in the play kits separately. They are only available by purchasing the subscription box (though you might find quality pre-loved Lovevery toys on Good Buy Gear).
A lot of parents choose to create DIY sensory bins for young children which is a great way to save money. But if you’d prefer to get these learning devices in the mail, Lovevery is definitely a good way to go.
