- It is the 11th most used letter in the English language
- Its name is pronounced /ˈdiː/ in IPA
- The letter form is thought to have been derived from the shape of a door
- In Roman numerals, D represents the number 500

With the use of these D tracing worksheets or the entire tracing workbook, we’re sure your kids will soon be writing their first legible letters.
It is definitely one of the easier letters for children to start writing – at least the upper case is. The lower case d is one of the more difficult for children to distinguish from b, especially if they have issues with dyslexia.
